This Phantom Blade Zero Against the Current guide covers the first part of a 100% completion walkthrough: from the tutorial to the Axe Master's Cell bell in the Valley of the Tearing Stream. The itinerary combines story progression with collecting weapons, accessories, books, and upgrade materials.
Against the Current in Phantom Blade Zero: Scope of Part 1
The route passes through ten bells and includes the Twin Bloodswords , Serrated Steel , and Vast Bloodsword , as well as the spectral blade Dread Axe. The two featured fights are Serrated Steel, the Frenzied Marauder, and the Axe Master Peng Meng.
The first steps of Lily of the Valley, Four Ferocious Axes, Purge the Cult, The Corroding Secret, and Healer's Apprentice are also taken . These side quests remain in progress: your participation in this part does not equate to completing them.
Books, stories and Sanguina Extensa
After the battle, the itinerary continues through Rusty Blade Pavilion, the book Reflections , and Sha-Chi's second Amber Fragment. Further on, Outpost Courtyard and The Rebellion of the Four Axes Confusion appear.
In this section, Four Ferocious Axes resumes, Purge the Cult begins, and you collect Extensive Blood . The start of The Corrosive Secret precedes the Outpost bell and the Cell Key , which allows you to return to the cave gate to collect a Blackstone Fragment.
Peng Meng and Dread Axe
The Dire Axe and Axe Master Peng Meng block begins at 59:27. After defeating Peng Meng, another Four Ferocious Axes advance occurs; then, the path reaches the Axe Master's Fall bell.
Final detours before the Axe Master's Cell
The final section covers Healer's Apprentice along with Yu'Er's Medicinal Recipe . This is followed by Sha-Chi's third Amber Fragment and further appearances in The Corroding Secret, one of which is accompanied by the book Written Order.
Before closing this section, the itinerary includes the following elements, in this order:
- Fragment of Black Stone.
- Four Fierce Axes: Captain Wu's Last Letter.
- Weapon Investor Talisman.
- Book Inventory report.
- Accessory Stone Protection.
