This guide locates all 10 collectibles in Regrouping in Mortis Valor , Chapter 02, set in the Valley of Ashes . It includes the seven numbered Ambers (04-10), the Pistol, a Ferrofluid Flask Power Upgrade, and an Empty Ferrofluid Flask.
How to organize the search in Family Reunification
The items can be found in chests, train cars, the Military Camp, and the Quarry, among other locations along the way. Pay special attention to A Silent Farewell : completing this mission will reward you with Amber 05, Sleight of Hand. Amber 06, on the other hand, is found in the chest located behind the guard at Los Oramentados.
The following instructions separate each item so you can find the one you're missing. Additionally, the completed mission is distinguished from the sections of The Oathkeepers and The Emissary , which are not finished in this playthrough.
Ferrofluid Bottle Power Upgrade 01
Near the Signpost , pass the overturned cart. Before using the post by the cliff, break the crates on the left. You'll find a chest behind an enemy: open it to collect the upgrade.
Amber 04: Indestructible Armor
After the first Grenadier , look for a chest on the left side of the path. It's before you go through the next metal train car and contains Indestructible Armor.
Gun
As you proceed across the ruined bridge , enter the train car on the left. The Pistol is found there.
Empty Ferrofluid Bottle 01
Continue past the platform section until you reach the La Subida Lighthouse . Empty Ferrofluid Bottle 01 is next to this lighthouse.
Amber 05: Sleight of Hand
This Amber is obtained by completing A Silent Farewell . The mission begins by speaking to the soldier in a carriage; afterward, you must retrieve the letter from the officers and return to him.
- Speak to the soldier in the carriage to start the mission.
- Go through the elevator area and shoot the weak points.
- Burn the vines and collect the officers' letter.
- Return to the soldier to complete the mission and receive Sleight of Hand.
Amber 06: Perfectionism
From the shortcut, descend the vines. After the group of enemies, take the left fork . Defeat the guard from the mission "The Oath-takers" and open the chest behind him to obtain Perfectionism. Obtaining this does not complete the mission.
Amber 07: Dominatus
At the Military Camp , locate the ramp between the explosive barrels. Dominatus is in a tent located to the left of that ramp.
Amber 08: Surplus
Take the detour to the side cave of the camp and ascend the walkways. That route leads to Surplus.
Amber 09: Powerful Brew
In the Quarry , look for the vines located in front of a shortcut staircase. Burn them to find Potent Brew.
Amber 10: Shooter's Nightmare
After the first zipline, break the crates on the left edge . Then, continue to the tower with an enemy to collect the Marksman's Nightmare.
Start of The Emissary and Beware of the Hole trophy
To begin The Emissary , leave the Other Side Lantern and enter the camp filled with poison gas. Collect the Emissary Seal from a carriage. The quest continues later; this only covers the beginning.
The objective of the "Watch Out for the Hole" trophy is to die from a fall. This segment is independent of the ten achievements in the chapter.

Chapter 02 All Collectibles Regroup | Mortis Valor. Guide to finding all 10 collectibles and progression items in this chapter, in the Valley of Ashes: the seven numbered Ambers (04-10), the Pistol, a Ferrofluid Flask Power Upgrade, and an Empty Ferrofluid Flask. The compact version removes movement between objectives but retains saved sections of side missions and the "Watch Out for the Void" trophy.
The Ferrofluid Flask Power Upgrade 01 is near the Indicator Lantern: pass the overturned cart and, before using the post by the cliff, break the crates on the left and open the chest behind an enemy. Amber 04, Indestructible Armor, is in another chest to the left of the path, after the first Grenadier and before passing through the next metal wagon.
The Pistol is found in a train car on the left, as you proceed across the ruined bridge. Empty Ferrofluid Flask 01 is located next to the Ascent Lantern, beyond the platform section. "A Silent Farewell" begins when you speak to the soldier in a carriage; to continue, go through the elevator area, shoot the weak points, burn the vines, and collect the officers' letter. Return to the soldier to complete the quest and obtain Amber 05, Sleight of Hand.
For Amber 06, Perfectionism, descend the vines from the shortcut and take the left fork after the group of enemies. Defeat the guard from the mission "The Oath-Sworn" and open the chest behind him. "The Emissary" only starts in this video: from the Other Side Lantern, enter the camp with poison gas and collect the Emissary Seal from a carriage; the mission continues later.
Amber 07, Dominatus, is in a tent to the left of the path leading up between the explosive barrels in the Military Camp. For Amber 08, Surplus, follow the detour through the side cave of the camp and ascend the walkways. In the Quarry, burn the vines in front of a shortcut staircase to find Amber 09, Potent Brew. After the first zipline, break the crates on the left edge and continue to the tower with an enemy to collect Amber 10, Marksman's Nightmare.
The "Beware the Hollow" trophy segment shows the objective of dying from a fall. The video also preserves the recorded mission phases, without showing "The Oathbringer" or "The Emissary" as completed. This allows you to directly access the locations and rewards for Chapter 02 without having to replay the entire walkthrough.
